9/27/2016 – The Rotary Club of Georgetown presented a check for $35,000 to District 7770 today for Alzheimer’s Research. This is a result of monies raised from the Annual Shag Festival put on each year in April by the Club. This year’s festival was the 10th annual and raised more money than ever before. The 11th Annual Shag Festival on April 22, 2017 will be once again held on King Street at Front Street in Historic Downtown Georgetown.
