Alan Walters

Alan Walters, presently a magistrate in Georgetown County, has been a very active Rotarian in the Georgetown Club since 1993.  His classification is Judiciary.  Alan served his club as President during the 1999-2000 year with distinction.  He has also served three years as Assistant Governor and on numerous committees and the board for his own club and for the district such as:  Club Service, District CART, District Planning Committee, District Nominating Committee, District RIDDE, and Area Dictionary Project Chair.  Alan provided leadership for many Rotary functions including Assistant Governor Training.  In addition to Rotary, Alan has been very active in the Boy Scouts Council and other community business and professional organizations, including the SC Summary Court Judges Association.  He is a multiple Paul Harris Fellow, Foundation Benefactor and 10 Star Rotarian.  Alan is married to Susan Walters.  Alan and Susan have two boys, Bobby and Jason.  The live on Pawleys Island.
