Saturday, August 26th we had a great turn out to pick up our adopted road Farming Creek Rd. As always we had breakfast before hand which consisted of Shrimp and Grits, Donuts, Orange Juice and Coffee. 13 Rotarians and 2 Volunteers gave up some of there morning to participate. We enjoyed doing our part to make the Midlands a greener, cleaner place to live, work and play.
On Wednesday, June 28th the Rotary Club of Lake Murray-Irmo was able to present four local non-profits with a grant through their small gifts and grants program. This is made possible through the fundraising efforts. Because of this Babcock Center, Keep the Midlands Beautiful, Sister Care, and The USO were all able to receive checks at Wednesday’s meeting. Thank you to the club members for all the hard work you put into fundraising for the club.

Baseball, Hotdogs, and Rotary equal a fun night. You are invited to a night out at the ballpark. Friday, May 19, 2017, has been designated as Rotary Night with the Fireflies. It will be an opportunity for Rotary club members to have a great social time this summer and make some money in the process. Tickets are $9.00 each and food vouchers are $5.00. We will all sit together along the first base line and have a great time. If we sell 100 tickets, each club participating will get a percentage of the ticket cost back as a fundraiser.
