The Rotary Club of Bluffton donates to Matthew Effort
The Rotary Club of Bluffton donated $5000 to Bluffton Self Help to aid in their Hurricane Matthew efforts in the wake of the storm disaster crippling area residents.
The Rotary Club of Bluffton is a non for profit organization that is a part of Rotary International serving communities around the world.  The club serves the greater Bluffton area and supports global initiatives.

Michael C. Riley Elementary School’s Singing Eagles entertainment Bluffton Rotarians on Family Day.

Rotarians brought in their significant others and kids to honor them for being good supporters of Rotarian efforts.  Two M.C. Riley students were also honored for their accomplishments.  They were presented with a Certificate and gift card from Rotarian President Michael Putich.  This is a special day for Rotarians and their families.

Library Offers Free Holiday Movie for Adults

Florence, South Carolina – November 30, 2016 − The Doctors Bruce and Lee Foundation

Library will host a classic holiday movie (1940) for adults on Tuesday, December 13 at

6:00

This romantic comedy stars Margaret Sullavan, James Stewart, and Frank Morgan. Two

employees at a gift shop can barely stand each other, without realizing that they are falling

in love through the mail as each other's anonymous pen pal. This movie was later remade

in 1949 as In the Good Old Summertime, and in 1998 as You've Got Mail. The movie runs

for 99 minutes.

Light refreshments will be served. This program is sponsored by Friends of Florence

The Hartsville Rotary Club completed two service projects for the Christmas Season. They hosted a pizza party for the Darlington County Foster Children which included a surprise visit from Santa.  They also Rang the Bell for the Salvation Army, competing with Kiwanis for total amount raised!

Rotary Club of Georgetown Meeting 11/27/2016:  Laurie Dana of the SBA discussed the programs available to homeowners, renters and businesses who suffered damages caused by Hurricane Matthew. Assistance is available through the SBA Office of Disaster Assistance, but time is running out. Most of the programs will end on December 13th.  If you know someone who may benefit from this assistance please let them know loans are available for up to 30 years at low interest rates – less than 2% for homeowners. Log into the FEMA website to get started!
