Horry County Councilman Johnny Vaught spoke to the Rotary Club of Carolina Sunrise at the breakfast meeting on April 5. He discussed and answered questions on a number of issues, including the Council’s efforts to improve the parking rates in the city of Myrtle Beach for county residents who do not live in Myrtle Beach, the status of several roads projects, the suit (regarding bears) to stop paving International Drive, the issues involved if Carolina Forest wished to incorporate, and the matter where a resident asked for a special zoning exception involving chickens in a residential area.

Breakfast meetings of The Rotary Club of Carolina Forest Sunrise are held every Wednesday from 7 to 8 am at Beef O’Brady’s in the Carolina Forest Shopping Center. Guests are always welcomed.
