To celebrate National Hot Tea Month, Laurie Crouse, owner
of Top Hat Special-Teas will present a tea tasting on Tuesday, January 10, 2016 at 6:30 p.m. at
the Doctors Bruce and Lee Foundation Library. Crouse will share a variety of teas and enlighten
participants about tea tradition and culture, as well the health benefits of tea.
Crouse opened Top Hat Special-Teas 17 years ago after visiting tearooms all over the country.
“One year my family and I went on vacation to Tennessee. Everywhere we went there was a tea
room. I decided during that vacation that I really wanted to open one in Florence.” Top Hat
Special-Teas is located at 234 W. Evans St.
This workshop is for adults 18 and over and is made possible by Friends of Florence County
Library. Admission is free but space is limited and registration is required. Call the Reference
