Honor Flight of South Carolina (HFSC) requests District 7770 Rotarians assistance in identifying and referring World War 2 veterans for our May 13 one-day no cost flight from Columbia to Washington, DC, WW2 veterans are leaving us at the rate of 800 per day and we need to ensure these heroes have an opportunity to see their memorial and others, again at not cost.
Since 2008, HFSC has sponsored 18 flights from Columbia with 1,700 veterans traveling, almost 3,000 statewide. Guardians are provided for the veterans. WW2 veterans may apply by downloading and completing an application at HonorFlightSC.com or if more convenient I will mail one to them.  I’ll be glad to answer any questions at 803-409-8935 or e-mail roncarolsaxton@yahoo.com. The flight is limited to 100 veterans so the sooner we receive applications, the better.
Thank you,
Ron Saxton
