grant scholars 2On Saturday, January 4, the five selected Global Grant Ambassadorial Scholars from District 7770 learned more about their upcoming year of graduate study abroad.  They heard from district leadership on scholar responsibilities before, during and after their year of study as well as from four former Ambassadorial Scholars on helpful tips on doing presentations, handling culture shock and becoming involved in Rotary.    These five young women are excited about their opportunity for study and are passionate about their chosen areas of focus for study and future careers.  Those of us who have the privilege of sharing their excitement and passion are fortunate indeed.   Any club can sponsor a candidate to study abroad in the 15 – 16 year.  For more information, contact Scholar Co-Chairs Pat Richards phrichards8(at)gmail(dot)com or Beth Wingard bethwngrd(at)gmail(dot)com
