On Wednesday, the Columbia Capital Rotary Club was honored to have as their guest speaker Dr. Anne Matthews who is the vice president of rotary international. Dr. Matthews discussed the vital role played by the 96 year old rotary foundation in efforts across South Carolina and worldwide to improve literacy and health, and to eliminate poverty. Dr Matthews, a Columbia native, is a member of and past president of the Columbia East Rotary Club.
