Consistent with the theme of ” A LITTLE ROTARY AND A LOT OF FUN” first espoused by the late J. Lambert ” Lambo ” Schwartz, past director of Rotary International, the Rotary Club of Carolina Forest Sunrise established the “member classification of Bob”, which was acknowledged at a recent club meeting. Pictured above (left to right) are members: Bob Squatriglia,Bob White and Bob Lepore. Each is a long -time Rotarian with a unique background and membership linked through the practice of “sharing Rotary” through sponsorship. Bob White, a Rotarian of 50 years, is a retired public school superintendent who upon retirement and relocation from New Jersey, later became the Charter President of the Rotary Club of Carolina Forest Sunrise. Bob Squatriglia, a Rotarian of 39 years, was later sponsored by Bob White as he transferred membership from the Rotary Club of Conway. Squatriglia, in turn, sponsored Bob Lepore, a Rotarian of 23 years, who relocated from the Rotary Club of Brick (NJ). The three Bob’s total 132+ years of Rotary service.Squatriglia is Vice President Emeritus of Student Affairs,Coastal Carolina University, and Lepore is franchise owner of Fire House Subs and is a retired firefighter. The Rotary Club of Carolina Forest Sunrise meets each Wednesday at 7:00 am in Beef OBrady’s,located in the Carolina Forest Kroger Mall. Visitors are always invited to attend and enjoy a free breakfast while learning about service opportunities in our community.
