On June 16, 2015, the Rotary Club of Georgetown presented its annual Vocational Service Award. This year, there were two equally highly qualified individuals; one submitted by the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Department and the other by the City of Georgetown Fire Department. The judges selected both to get awards. Fire Chief Tanner introduced Firefighter Chris Rogers and Sheriff Cribb introduced Debbie Barr, County Jail. These individuals represent the talent and spirit of public service exhibited by our public safety employees. The awards were presented by Past District Governor/Past President Alan Walters.
