South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson addressed the Rotary Club of Georgetown at their regular Tuesday meeting located at Eddy Chacon’s restaurant overlooking beautiful Winyah Bay on May 2nd. His main topic was on human trafficking: Sex trafficking and trafficking in the rural farm areas for immigrant workers. He compared trafficking to modern day slavery. He stressed the outreach programs that the AG’s office is actively engaging in with high school students to educate them on the dangers of social media and the predators that are out there waiting. He also touched on what his office is and the legislature is doing about domestic violence.
