VanLandingham Rotary Club held it annual Founders Night Dinner on board the “Spirit of Harbourtown” on Saturday attended by District Governor Elect Sandee Brooks and Assistant District Governor David Tirard. A number of awards were presented by outgoing President John Farrenkopf as he passed the Pin to incoming President Darcie Patrick. During the evening four Paul Harris Fellow Awards were presented to Tim Ridge, Pat Phillips, Neil Castellane and James Ellis

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAThe Georgetown Breakfast Rotary Club honored Angie Kohl with the Paul Harris Fellow award during its meeting on February 18.

A member of the club since 2012, Kohl serves as chair of the club’s Public Relations committee and is President nominee.

The Paul Harris Society is named after the founder of Rotary International and recognizes individuals who contribute $1,000 or more to the Rotary Foundation to support activities such as polio eradication, peace and conflict prevention and resolution, disease prevention and treatment, water and sanitation, maternal and child health, basic education and literacy and economic and community development.

Club President, Kalib Moyer, bestowed Kohl with a lapel pin from Rotary International and a certificate from the club.

st andrews rotaryLast Thursday at the St. Andrews Rotary meeting we gave the Paul Harris Fellow to a very special person, Kappi Ellis.

She is not a Rotarian but has a Rotarian heart.  She has worked tirelessly over the past 5 years with Vicki Tatum to make The Rotary Youth Exchange Program D7770 a success.
Presenting the award are Vicki and our District Governor, Lou Mello.

On Thursday April 5th, Bruce Boone of Conway Rotary Club recognized Steve Williams, Amanda Brown, Mike Dimarino, Brad Odom and Matt Staub as Paul Harris Fellows. Jeff Davis and Bill Benson were awarded Paul Harris Fellow +1 ($2,000). George Livingston was recognized for becoming a Paul Harris Benefactor. Paul Harris Fellows are donors of $1000 or more to Rotary’s Annual Programs Fund, PolioPlus, or the Humanitarian Grants Program.
