RRVF-rgbVanLandingham Rotary is saddened by the loss of Greg James. Below is a link to his obituary in the Island Packet.

Additionally, fellow Rotarian Brian Goode would like to share his thoughts…

“The VanLandingham Rotary Club lost one of its finest members when Greg James left this world to be with the Lord yesterday morning, September 4th. He was a dear and close friend of mine for 20 years and I shall greatly miss him as I know you will as well.

Greg served our club and community in many ways. At VanLandingham Rotary, he was a Past President, auction chairman, board member, social chairman and a master joke teller. Greg was “Mr. Reliable” with everything that he did and could always be counted upon. Perhaps most of all, his integrity, engaging personality, and inimitable sense of humor made Greg a lovable and unforgettable Rotarian.

Greg requested that memorial contributions be made to the VanLandingham Rotary Scholarship Fund.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, 4pm at All Saints Episcopal church followed by a party in his honor at Sea Pines County Club.”

JudgeMullenatpodium-082713 Judge Carmen Mullen spoke at the Rotary Club of VanLandingham. Judge Mullen sits on the 14th Judicial Circuit Court adjudicating both civil and criminal cases. She had a candid chat with the members in attendance and allowed for an uncensored Q&A session. In conclusion, she admits that she is rather conservative and is constantly trying to arrive at fair and equitable punishments for criminals. We at VanLandingham Rotary feel very fortunate to have her in our court system
