Late August and September were times of sightseeing and exploration.  My classmates, housemates, and colleagues boarded a tour bus and saw some of Egypt’s most ancient sights (not to mention ate some delicious food).  Here’s a look at the last 30 days’ hilights.

When I heard the university was offering a sightseeing tour of the Pyramids, it was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up.  I woke early on a Friday to prepare for the journey.  As I walked down the street to campus, I made a couple of new friends who I soon discovered were also my housemates.  Together, we set out to explore the ancient pyramids.
