Pat. Pictures are the presidents of Myrtle Beach and Chicora Rotary clubs and the participants as well as the Red Cross coordinator. The challenge was to see who could get the greatest amount of blood donated for their particular club. There were no losers, as we Collected 50 pints of blood. Using the Red Cross statistics this collection of 50 pints would save anywhere between 50 and 75 lives. The Red Cross coordinator Megan Heath was very please with the results. We are trying to foster greater interclub activities to stimulate interest and also public awareness of Rotary. Both clubs said that they would look forward to future interclub activities.
