Columbia, SC – The Rotary Club of Five Points recognized teachers at their meeting on Friday, May 3.

Teachers were selected by the principals of their school based on their dedication to teaching and their teaching styles.  The Rotary Club of Five Points gave each teacher a recognition plaque and a $100 Gift Certificate.  The schools selected are in the Richland One School District and Five Points area. This is an annual event for the Rotary Club and a good way to show their support of all teachers.

The Five Points Rotary Club meets on Fridays at 1:00 at Segra Park. One of the Club’s main focus is on the education and welfare of children.
