Wholly Smokin’ BBQ restaurant located in downtown Florence. The event, hosted by the
Florence Breakfast Club, included various wines from the Pacific Northwest USA that were
paired with specialty dishes of the local restaurant which included shrimp with sweet Thai chili,
BBQ sliders, chicken salad in phyllo cups, BBQ brisket, pork ribs and banana pudding. Over 30
members from the three clubs had an opportunity to learn more of the wines from local
vendors and to experience the wonderful food in the vibrant downtown atmosphere. Wines
were also available for purchase and were quickly snatched up by the attendees. A future wine
fellowship event will be scheduled for later this year.
