Summey saluted the club for its 25th anniversary, celebrated recently. Keith also added that he is celebrating his 22nd year of service as North Charleston Mayor. “We are really proud of the growth that we have seen here in the Wescott Community, noting that North Charleston has become the top retail city in South Carolina,” he added. He spoke to a large crowd of Rotarians and guests, adding, “Sometimes people ask how we have been able to do this? I usually answer them by noting that we are a ‘service’ city and stress the importance of treating residents and businesses as customers that we are here to serve. Mayor Summey was introduced by Past President Matt Coakley. The Summerville Oakbrook Rotary club meetings on Mondays at 7:30am at the Wescott Club House.
