The Rotary Club of Myrtle Beach kicked off the New Year with a combination of hybrid and in-person meetings. “We want our members to experience Rotary in the manner that makes them most comfortable,” said President Terrance Herriott. In its first meeting of 2021, members heard Walter Lassiter and Marsha Wilmot, senior business leaders and experienced SCORE mentors, discuss SCORE’s role in helping both new and existing businesses.
The local SCORE office serves Dillon, Florence, Georgetown, Horry, Marion, and Williamsburg Counties through workshops and mentorships and by providing important business development information. “Whether you’re just starting in business, or ready to sell or retire, you can get free, confidential, business advice from expert advisors committed to helping you succeed,” said Lassiter.
Since it began in 1964, SCORE has assisted more than 11 million aspiring and established entrepreneurs nationally. For more information, including volunteer opportunities, visit www.GrandStrandScore.com.
