Myrtle Beach Rotary’s 11th BRAVO BROADWAY concert wowed guests and Rotarians while raising funds for many of the Grand Strand’s most deserving non-profits.
The brainchild of long-time Myrtle Beach Rotarian, Matt Sedota, and heartily endorsed by club members, the concert series was initiated to replace an annual fruit sale. “We needed something vibrant which would not only raise funds but promote Rotary in a positive light,” Sedota said.
The concert, which pairs some of Broadway’s most noted performers with Myrtle Beach’s professional orchestra, The Long Bay Symphony, has done just that. Since its inception, BRAVO BROADWAY has raised over $250,000 in sponsorships and ticket sales. These funds have provided assistance to New Directions of Horry County, Boys and Girls Club of the Grand Strand, United Way of Horry County, Help 4 Kids/Backpack Buddies, American Red Cross, and Savannah’s Playground, just to name a few.
