Our District 7770 Ambassadorial Scholars are New Generations Month in Action. At the District Foundation and Membership Seminar, 2012 – 2013 Scholar Allysan Scatterday gave an update on her year in Paris.

She earned a masters in public health and will use her experience to apply to medical school. During her time in Paris, she was able to volunteer on various Rotary projects, including a medical trip to Tunisia to work with abandoned children in an orphanage.

During the school year, she helped to establish an inaugural international conference on public health issues, and she traveled to Berlin to represent her Rotary area.

She said her scholar experience changed her life and the direction of her medical studies. She hopes to use her education to do more medical volunteering. We in District 7770 are proud to have Allysan and our other scholars represent both our District and our country as an ambassador for Rotary.
