North Charleston, SC: North Charleston Rotary today announced the club’s 75th anniversary. This marks a major milestone in North Charleston Rotary’s mission to serve the local community and to help meet the goals of Rotary International.

“Being part of an organization that for 75 years has served to inspire and do good deeds is a privilege and honor” says Steve Parker, President-elect at North Charleston Rotary. “We’re excited to celebrate our past and move into our future.”

The group is welcoming members and guests to its 75th anniversary celebration at Trident Technical College’s Aeronautical Training Center on May 15, 2021. Proceeds from the evening go to the North Charleston Rotary Club Scholarship Fund.

Since 1962, the club has awarded more than 270 scholarships totaling more than $450,000. 

Food will be by Duvall Catering with the Trident Technical College’s Culinary school. The guest speaker will be Anne Matthews from Rotary International’s Board of Directors. She is also a Past Rotary International Vice President and Past Trustee of The Rotary Foundation.
