Ron Wilson, the retiring Director of the Veterans Welcome Home and Resource Center, and his wife Kay, recently joined the Rotary Club Of Little River to talk about the ongoing mission of the center and his upcoming retirement.  Ron has been involved with the center since 2015 when he joined the House Committee and later the Finance Committee.  In 2017, Ron became a member of the Board of Directors, and with the retirement of founder Kris Tourtellote, he became the center Director.

During his talk, Ron reminisced about his experiences at the center and various projects that the center and the Rotary Club have worked on together including staining the border fence and helping to set up and landscape the Rotary House, a small container home donated to the center.
Ron’s successor is Scott Dulebohm and we look forward to hearing from Scott at a future meeting.

The VWHRC will be holding an open house on Wednesday March 17th, 2021 from 9 am to 2 pm for anyone wishing to stop by and thank Ron for his contributions and wish him well for his well deserved retirement.
