New Rotarian Kimberly Causey- Gomez ( right)became the newest club member at club

Ms. Causey -Gomez is Project Director, Office of Philanthropy, Coastal Carolina University.The day’s program focused on Veteran Appreciation and CCU veteran Services. The club meets the first and third Wednesday’s of each month at 7 am,

 A Rotary International District 7770 (central and coastal South Carolina) record forty four new members were  recently installed at the Horry County Scholars Academy( CCU campus). Interact is a high school organization sponsored by the Rotary Club  of Carolina Forest  Sunrise and is dedicated to community service both on and off the campus. Interactors take action by working closely with their sponsor club to make a difference with a minimum one community and one international service project annually. Members also attend  statewide and national leadership conferences at such locations as  Columbia,SC and Washington,DC. Ralph Jones photo

The  Rotary Club of Carolina Forest Sunrise- Sponsored CCU Rotaract Club inducted new members at a recent meeting Seven of the ten newest members are pictured above. Rotaract is a Rotary International sponsored organization   for members  between the ages of 18 and 30 and works closely with their Sponsoring RotaryClub on a minimum of one community and one international service project annually. Members also attend one district and one Washington, D.C.-  Based conference each year.  Club officers meet monthly with Rotarians at their breakfast meeting.There are 174,984 members in 7,608  clubs worldwide.
