The Rotary Club of Carolina Forest Sunrise recently learned about the Springmaid Beach Resort, originally opened in 1948, becoming the newly named Doubletree Hotel with plans to open Summer 2016 and a target date of July 4th, 2016.

The club learned of the details of the Springmaid Beach Resort and Conference Center:452 Oceanview Rooms and Suites; largest oceanfront conference center in Myrtle Beach;35000 square feet of meeting, banquet and exhibit space; MB’s only privately owned fishing pier. The Rotary Club of Carolina Forest Sunrise meets at 7:00 am on the first and third Wednesdays of each month in Beef O’Brady’s located in the Kroger-Carolina Forest Mall. Visitors are welcome to enjoy a breakfast and learn about our community and opportunities to serve the community in behalf of the Rotary credo: “Service Above Self”.
