earlyact logoIn the spirit of New Generation month, Rotary Club of Hilton Head Island has sponsored, what are believed to be, the first two EarlyAct clubs in District 7770.  The EarlyAct Club of Hilton Head Island Elementary – IB is being mentored by the Interact Club of Hilton Head Island High School and the EarlyAct Club of Hilton Head Prep is being mentored by Interact Club of Hilton Head Prep.

The first meetings of the EarlyAct clubs were held Tuesday, September 10  and Thursday, September 19th with subsequent monthly meetings to follow.  EarlyAct Club of Hilton Head Island Elementary – IB initiated 34 members and EarlyAct Club of Hilton Head Prep initiated 26 members.  This joint effort between Rotary Club of Hilton Head Island, the Interact Clubs and EarlyAct Clubs promises to be a success for all involved.

The direction for EarlyAct is for their Club, just as our Rotary Clubs would do, to come up with ideas to do good in the world which could include their school, within our community and possibly a broader scope of something outside of our community.  All students, both EarlyAct & Interact, faculty advisors and Rotary advisors are excited about the prospect of what part we can play in doing good in the world.
