SC House Speaker at Florence Rotary

SC House Speaker Jay Lucas (R-Hartsville) made a special visit to the Florence Rotary Club at the request of Rotary member  / SC Senate President Pro Tempore Hugh Leatherman (R-Florence).  Upon his taking the position of acting Speaker of the House, Lucas formed three ad hoc committees on ethics reform, infrastructure and management, and House rules and procedures. He is also focusing on infrastructure, education, and workforce development. Lucas was elected to Speaker of the House on December 2, 2014.  Please see the related news article
