The Rotary Club of Lexington recently conducted its annual officer transition ceremony. Rotary Assistant Governor Johnny Moore (at left) presided over the swearing-in of President Greg David (center) who is pictured with Immediate Past President George Stoudemire (right).
With this post, we honor Rotarian Ted Stern for his lifelong Service Above Self.
Ted Stern passed away Friday morning in Charleston after reaching the age of 100.
His leadership in Rotary and throughout his beloved community will never be forgotten.

DG Ed Duryea recently presented a letter from Rotary International president Sakuji Tanaka to
PDG Ted Stern congratulating him on his 100th birthday. Ted’s birthday was Dec. 25, 2012.
