Two new members were inducted into the Rotary Club of Daniel Island during the April 26 meeting. President Gray Ives called the new members, Dr. Brantley Meier & Ms. Katie Giebel, along with their sponsors to the podium and confirmed they were ready and willing to join the ranks of over 1.2 million Rotarians worldwide. IMG_3942 Dr. Meier received his Rotary pin from his sponsor Mr. Michael Patterson and Ms. Giebel received her Rotary pin from her sponsor Mr. Michael Cole. Chicora Rotary “New Members Round Up”

Club membership has been divided into 6 “Gangs”, each responsible to lasso as many new members as possible. The Rotarian with the most new members each month wins a prize.

The team with the most new members at the end  roundup wins a prime Western luncheon while all other members relish their chuck-wagon chili and cornbread.
