It is official – Rotary Club of Sumter Sunrise Has Heart. Thanks to everyone our “Rotary Has Heart” morning provided more than three bushels of food for children and the monetary donations amounted to $335.
We are proud of our club and the contributions we make to our community and internationally!

Attached is the picture taken the day Rotary Club of Sumter held the World’s Greatest Meal in honor of Rotary Foundation Month and in support of Rotary’s efforts to eradicate polio. DRFC Lou Mello was the speaker that day.
The Rotary Club of Sumter-Sunrise hosted its 18th annual Cow Patty Bingo on Saturday, April 26 at the Sumter Civic Center. This annual event has become a favorite for many in the Sumter area and was well attended by both local residents and visitors from as far away as Illinois. Under beautiful blue skies, the club was able to conduct five bingo games with the help of two local, well fed, Bovine friends which were provided by a local cattle rancher. Proceeds of the event will be used to help fund the club’s local initiatives.
