Members of Spring Valley Rotary Club are teaming up to host an Applebee’s “Flapjack Fundraiser” breakfast on Saturday, August 8 from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Applebee’s located at 10102 Two Notch Road in front of Lowe’s in Northeast Columbia. Tickets are $7.00 per person and can be purchased from any Spring Valley Rotary member or at the door the morning of the breakfast. Breakfast includes pancakes, bacon, fresh fruit, juice, coffee, or sweet tea.

Proceeds from the breakfast will benefit the new food and school supply pantry at Windsor Elementary School, “the Windsor Warehouse.” Windsor Elementary School Principal and Spring Valley Rotarian Beth Elliott said, “Because of the support of the Spring Valley Rotary Club we’re thrilled to be formalizing a food and school supply pantry and are excited to launch our new “Windsor Warehouse” this school year. This Rotarian effort will make a difference in the lives and learning of our students and their families.”
