PDG, Vanessa Ervin, who served D7730 in 2014-15, presented via Zoom a moving presentation on her experience as a Rotarian and the vital role of the Foundation.
In her twenty-eight years as a member of the Jacksonville Rotary Club (Southeastern, NC), PDG Vanessa has served in numerous positions at the club, district, and zone level. She demonstrates her compassion for healthier communities worldwide through global grants and has participated in projects to establish solar water systems in Guyana, and established a Rotary dialysis center in India. She also led a Vocational Training Team of medical and healthcare professionals to India.
Vanessa is the President/CEO of Carobell Inc, a nonprofit healthcare provider dedicated to providing 24-hour care and responsive services for children and adults with diagnosed intellectual developmental disabilities. Becker Hospital Review selected her as one of the 50 Influential African American HealthCare Leaders in the nation.
